[Selection-L] donations

Good Morning:
    I need some input about how other public libraries handle donations. We 
have people coming in and they want to give us money to purchase materials. 
Who is the first point of contact at your library for this situation. I am 
not always available and sometimes they just see a public service person, 
sometimes they end up with the public relations person, etc. Do you have a 
policy you would be willing to share? Thanks for your assistance.
